SUSTAINABILITY
Here at Bradley Gems we are committed to the sustainable and ethical production of gemstones, in particular Australian Sapphires. With decades of history within the Australian Sapphire industry we understand the challenges that this industry faces in the areas of ethical and responsible sourcing of gemstones and the larger challenges that mining in general has on our wider environment.

To ensure this, we own and operate our own mining facilities here on the Queensland Gemfields. We operate under and proudly maintain a progressive Health and Safety Management system for our mines and actively work with the regulating bodies within this region to ensure that we have the highest of standards in place at our locations.

We operate a predominately underground mining operation, proudly minimizing our footprint on the local landscape and employ every effort to recycle and reuse at every aspect of the mining process. We proudly boast a clear history of zero workplace injuries and continually look for new ways to improve the way we operate the mine.

Further to this we extensively investigate and hold all our suppliers and affiliates to these same high standards. For us this is not negotiable. We understand the sustainability of the industry is at stake and we have the moral obligation to not only do our bit, but to provide the leadership in this area to help raise the bar on how the industry operates.
